Recruitment procedure for the PhD student position

We plan to recruit a Ph.D. students for the period

of 3 years (from 01.10.2015 to 30.09.2018).

Offered salary: 2790 PLN (before tax, or 2010 PLN (after tax).

Some travel money available.

Candidates should meet the following criteria:

1. A candidate must be a graduate (MSc or equivalent) in mathematics,

2. A candidate must be able to communicate in English.

The following documents should be delivered by the candidates:

1. A M.Sc. diploma,

2. CV together with the list of achievements (e.g. participation in mathematical tournaments

for students, participation in mathematical conferences, lectures given at conferences and

seminars, list of research publications with preprints, copy of Master Thesis, list of scholarships

awarded),

3. A reference letter from a tutor is strongly recommendable,

Candidates may also present:

4. Up to two letters of recommendation written by other scientists,

5. Documents confirming the command of English.

The candidates may be interviewed by the coordinator (possibly by phone). The interview

would concentrate on the topic of master thesis, field of mathematics related to the topics

of this project All applicants will be informed after the selection process about their results

of the recruitment procedure.
